(Farmers Branch) It's not that pretty anyways...

Tonight the "great" council of the so called city Farmers Branch(FB) unanimously decided to approve anti-immigration measures which include:

• fines for landlords that deal with illegal immigrants,
• allow local authorities to screen suspects (in police custody) to see whether they are in the country illegally.
• English as the official language.

What a bunch of crap!!!

Why are they denying the right of people to live there? isn't this people the one that do the 'dirty' work? I would love to see this council, now that they had the 'guts' to vote (in an a/c room with all luxury chairs, tables and equipment) for these measures to roll their sleeves and work on construction or yard cleaning. Would they do it? Not really. They are probably celebrating with the rest of racists people that live in FB (don't get me wrong, I am pretty sure that there is a lot of nice, kind, and open minded people living in FB.) these measures thinking that miraculously all the hard-working people will disappear soon.

I have been all around this city, to be honest I am not impressed by any means. I do not know what they want to do because the city IS NOT THAT PRETTY ANYWAYS and with these measures it will become a city without "flavor".


By the way, I wonder what they are going to do if people from its city sisters (Garbsen, Schonebeckfrom Germany) come and do not speak English. Would they send them to jail? Fines?...unbelievable.

Higher Standards? Give me a break...

Who whoud have thought that the reason that brought me back to the blog was going to be a complain about the bank that I thought was the best in this country. I, without noticing or better said because of the good for nothing ATMs machines ablity to calculate a balance correctly, overdrafted my check card and for each transaction I am being charged 33.00 dollars.

I went to a local branch to try to fix this issue. I got the response from a red head manager "clients are responsible for their money, you should not trust the ATM", well Ms. Readhead If I should not trust the ATMs, I might as well should not trust the entire bank.

To make a story short, I will not be refunded my money, ah and by the way, if there is an error from the bank instead of a refund for each $33.00 fee they charged, I will be reinbursed only 28.00 even if that was their mistake. They will keep 5.00 dollars of my hard earned money for their stupidity. Give me a break Bank of America, you have disappointed me!!

I know most of you don't care but be aware to not trust your ATM balance specially if you are under the Higher Standards bank... Higher standards for stealing maybe...LADRONES!!!!
By the way, I am looking for another bank and whoever from Bank of America is enjoying my money... Kiss my Guatemalan derriere.

El Retorno de Linux

Una vez mas me he ausentado de este blog sin "querer queriendo". Esta ausencia tiene un nombre, Linux. Linux para los que no saben es una sistema operativo para computadoras (competencia de MS Windows). Estos ultimos dias he retomado la bandera del pinguino y he instalado Red Hat 7 en una computadora "nueva" que compre por $100 dolares (incluido envio). Muchas cosas han cambiado desde la ultima vez que use Linux (3 anios) ahora hay muchas mas aplicaciones y como siempre es...gratis...Dicho esto, regreso a seguir "trasteando" la compu a ver que aprendo de nuevo.

El malogrado Canal 29 (Estados Unidos)

Al llegar a Dallas llamo mi atencion la cantidad de canales locales que transmiten su programacion en espanol. Uno de ellos llamo mi atencion por el contenido que transmite, este canal se autodenomina Canal 29. Dicho canal es ultra amarillista, con programas donde no existen valores morales o civicos que puedan ayudar a mi gente hispana. No es que sea puritano, pero al ver estos programas que lo unico que promueven son situaciones actuadas en las cuales la infidelidad, el maltrato y la agresion fisica son el comun denominador, no me queda mas que expresar esta opinion de inconformidad. Lo que mas me molesta es que este canal no ayuda en nada al enriquecimiento intelectual de la comunidad hispana de Estados Unidos, es mas lo unico que hace es enriquecer los bolsillos de la astuta persona que se dio cuenta de la forma en como explotar la ignorancia o inocencia de la gente.

Por ultimo, solo quiero decir “BOICOT A ESTA PORQUERIA DE CANAL, EL MALOGRADO CANAL 29.”

Ya era hora!

Despues de tremenda inactividad en este Blog.. ahora si vuelvo a la carga.

Ha pasado mas de un mes desde el ultimo comentario y aqui van los dardos y comentarios del mes de Marzo:

Politica(mi paisanos saben de que hablo):
Lo primero que tengo que decir o mejor dicho reirme es de la sinverguenzada del partido de la manita(FRG) de Guatemala especialmente del jefe de dicha jauria de hienas hambrientas de poder. Hasta cuando este (ya demostrado genocida) va a entender que Guatemala no lo quiere como presidente?!! Como es posible que esta partida de sinverguenzas tenga cara para poder criticar al gobierno guatemalteco actual si cuando el asesino y por demas demostrado ladron de Alfonso Portillo era presidente, estos tipejos vaciaron a sabor y antojo las arcas de mi pais Guatemala…Que Ridiculos!!!!

Farandula:
Ahhh que rico se siente desahogar el “feeling” contra los corruptos. Hablando de farandula, ayer fui al Music Hall de Dallas a ver la obra “El Fantasma de la Opera”(Phantom of the Opera) y me queda decir… mis respetos para la actuacion y voces de los participantes, para los que han visto la pelicula les recomiendo, si tienen la oportunidad, de ver la obra de teatro.

Deportes:
Despues de haber estado inactivo de las canchas de mi amado deporte, el futbol, he recibido una invitacion para ser “fichado” para jugar en un campeonato relampago a realizarse en mi antigua Universidad.

Personal:
Sigo trabajando en la compania productora de cosmeticos, en el area de soporte de Sitios Web. Es una experiencia muy interesante donde lo mas rescatable es el excelente grupo de gente que tengo como companeros de trabajo.

En personal tambien puedo decir que extrano a mi familia, asi que si leen esto(aunque uds. ya los saben) quiero decirles que los quiero mucho.

A las personas que han entrado continuamente pero no han visto ni “eme” de informacion nueva.. les agradezco la paciencia…
